Eden Alternative

Magnolia Village is a proud member of the Eden Alternative Registry, a world-wide group of homes and organizations dedicated to the elimination of loneliness, helplessness and boredom, the three plaques which cause such harm to the Elders of our society.

The Registry has over 300 members and Magnolia Village is among a handful which have achieved the highest status, Milestone 4. This distinction is reserved for those organizations which have demonstrated the ability to sustain an empowered environment whereby operational decisions are made by Elders and staff. The result is an Elder directed environment which responds to the needs of those who live there and a long standing team of caregivers who are dedicated to the success of the Elders.
